With approximately 20 years working in procurement and supplier management with a global manufacturing organisation, Susannah brings commercial experience and insights to Whitstable Maritime as it begins its next stage of development. Working with very diverse teams in multiple countries, Susannah has been responsible for leading procurement teams which partner with both manufacturing and R&D. She is also a keen sailor and member of Whitstable Yaught Club.
Being in love with The Bubble for over 15 years, Susannah is excited to join Whitstable Maritime. She says: “Completing the restoration of the Whitstable Oyster Yawl will be a key milestone and help bring Whitstable’s fantastic marine heritage to life. Broadening the experience for visitors which includes training programmes, builds on an already-established artistic element and reinforces environmental and sustainability activities … whilst helping promote local businesses. What a great combination”!
